Tell Your Agent What You Love About Your Home

Nobody knows what it is like to live in your property better than you do.
That knowledge can be extremely useful when the marketing details are being prepared.
Your agent will see the obvious features.
They will notice the number of bedrooms, the kitchen, the garden and the location.
But they may not immediately understand what makes the property particularly enjoyable to live in.
Perhaps there is a lovely view at a certain time of day.
Maybe the balcony is where you spend summer evenings.
The layout might be unusually flexible.
The garden could be one of the things you will miss most.
Some agents ask owners to write a short paragraph explaining what they have enjoyed about living in the property.
I like that idea.
It adds information that can be difficult to obtain from measurements and photographs alone.
This does not mean writing pages of sentimental history.
Think about the features that genuinely improve day-to-day life in the home.
What would you tell a friend if they asked why you enjoyed living there?
Any relevant and important information, you should make sure to tell your agent.
Your experience of the property can help them describe it more convincingly to the next owner.
